DESCRIPTION:FBCH 2025 Thanksgiving Mission Project: “Sharing and Caring”\nAs the season of gratitude approaches, First Baptist Church (FBCH) invites our church family and community to join together in love and service for our 2025 Thanksgiving Mission Project: “Sharing and Caring.”\nThis year, our mission is simple but powerful — to be the hands and feet of Jesus by blessing families in need. Together, we will provide meals that not only nourish the body but also warm the heart.\nA Message from Scripture\n\n“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”— Hebrews 13:15\n\nThis verse reminds us that true thanksgiving is more than words of gratitude — it’s shown through acts of generosity and compassion. By sharing from what we have, we reflect God’s love in a tangible way.\n\nHow You Can Help\nWe are collecting non-perishable food items to help create complete Thanksgiving meals for families in our community. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!\nItems Needed:\n\n\nCanned corn, green beans, greens, cranberry sauce, yams, and gravy\n\n\nBoxed stuffing, boxed instant potatoes, and corn muffin mix\n\n\nBoxed cake mix and canned icing\n\n\nBoxed Mac & cheese\n\n\nEach item will go directly toward providing families with a meal that reminds them they are loved, seen, and supported.\n\nDonation Drop-Off Details\nYou can drop off donations directly at the church during the following times:\n\n\nSundays: November 2 & 9 – After Morning Worship\n\n\nWeekdays: November 3, 4, 6, 10 & 12 – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM\n\n\nDrive-Thru Donations: November 5 – 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Lincoln Street Parking Lot)\n\n\nIf you’re unable to donate in person, consider partnering with us by spreading the word or organizing a small collection at your workplace, school, or neighborhood.\n\nTogether, We Can Make a Difference\nOver the years, the FBCH Thanksgiving Mission has become a tradition of faith, fellowship, and compassion. It’s a time when our community comes together to ensure no table is empty and no heart feels forgotten.\nAs we celebrate this season of thanksgiving, let’s remember that every can, box, and bag represents a prayer answered.
