The Christian Fellowship Choir of FBCH is sponsoring its annual Poinsettia Project to beautify the sanctuary for Christmas! The plants will be displayed on Sunday, December 22nd and will be available in red or white at a cost of $15 per plant. The poinsettias may be purchased “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” individuals. When placing your order, you may also designate that the plant be given to a Sick and Shut-In member. The plants should be removed from the Sanctuary after the Morning Worship Service on Sunday, December 22nd. Orders will be taken in the William D. Booth Activity Center following the service on November 3rd, November 17th, November 24th, and December 1st.  Please make checks payable to FBCH, and write CFC-Poinsettia on the memo line. All are invited to join Reverend Michael L. McCoy, Sr. as he conducts a Church-Wide Bible Study on “The Fruit of the Spirit.” This 7-week series started on Wednesday October 30th and will be held each Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through Wednesday, December 18th. The Bible Study will be held in Rooms 303/304/305. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Bible Study will NOT take place on Wednesday, November 27th. The series is based on the book “Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit:  Growing in Christlikeness” by Christopher J. H. Wright.  All participants are encouraged to purchase the book, which is available online at and  First Family, all leaders and members are encouraged to invite their friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join us as we explore the gift of the Fruit of the Spirit.




Inviting all Veterans, Reservists, Active Duty Service members and their families to attend our Annual Veteran’s Day Reception on Sunday, November 11, 2019 immediately following the Morning Worship Service.  Families must be registered to attend.  Tickets will be available following the Sunday Morning Worship Service on October 13th and 20th. The FBCH Soup Kitchen now takes place throughout the year. As a result, the J.C. Patterson Missionary Society is seeking donations of season appropriate, men’s and women’s clothing. All donations may be dropped off on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. in the Activity Center. Donations may also be dropped off in the Administrative Office during normal business hours.
