FBCH 2025 Thanksgiving Mission Project: “Sharing and Caring”
As the season of gratitude approaches, First Baptist Church (FBCH) invites our church family and community to join together in love and service for our 2025 Thanksgiving Mission Project: “Sharing and Caring.”
This year, our mission is simple but powerful — to be the hands and feet of Jesus by blessing families in need. Together, we will provide meals that not only nourish the body but also warm the heart.
A Message from Scripture
“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
— Hebrews 13:15
This verse reminds us that true thanksgiving is more than words of gratitude — it’s shown through acts of generosity and compassion. By sharing from what we have, we reflect God’s love in a tangible way.
How You Can Help
We are collecting non-perishable food items to help create complete Thanksgiving meals for families in our community. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!
Items Needed:
-
Canned corn, green beans, greens, cranberry sauce, yams, and gravy
-
Boxed stuffing, boxed instant potatoes, and corn muffin mix
-
Boxed cake mix and canned icing
-
Boxed Mac & cheese
Each item will go directly toward providing families with a meal that reminds them they are loved, seen, and supported.
Donation Drop-Off Details
You can drop off donations directly at the church during the following times:
-
Sundays: November 2 & 9 – After Morning Worship

Together, We Can Make a Difference
Over the years, the FBCH Thanksgiving Mission has become a tradition of faith, fellowship, and compassion. It’s a time when our community comes together to ensure no table is empty and no heart feels forgotten.
As we celebrate this season of thanksgiving, let’s remember that every can, box, and bag represents a prayer answered. Your kindness is a reflection of Christ’s love in action.
Join Us in Sharing and Caring
We invite everyone — church members, local organizations, and community friends — to take part in this mission of giving. Whether you contribute food, time, or prayers, your participation helps us make a real impact.
Let’s make this Thanksgiving a celebration of faith, generosity, and unity as we continue to do good and share with others, just as God calls us to do.
